Our guest today was Kurt Miller - Founder, Producer and Director, discusses his new  film The Movement: One Man Joins an Uprising

After the better part of two decades owning and running Warren Miller Entertainment, producer/director, Kurt Miller had a
vision for Make A Hero with the mission of helping local adaptive sports groups gain recognition and funding.

Kurt says his inspiration to create Make A Hero was influenced by adaptive segments in Warren Miller films through the
years, his many opportunities to feature the heroes of disabled sport, and the uplifting tales of the volunteers who work with
these athletes and share them with millions of fans.

Kurt started producing and directing sports films when he was a senior in high school. Over the years he has worked for his
father Warren Miller and in 1989 purchased Warren Miller Entertainment with business partner, Peter Speek. In just over
ten years the company grew over 400% and became a household name around the world.

Kurt’s most recent personal accomplishment outside of business came in 2005 when he returned to his passion of racing
sailboats after being away from it for twenty-three years. Kurt finished third in the world and top American in the Master
Laser class in Fortaleza, Brazil.
